My initial diagnosis was metastatic stage 4 breast cancer. What I would like people to understand is I, and others like me, will never ring the bell. We are in perpetual treatment until our options run out. Our lives can no longer be saved, but only prolonged as long as the drugs keep working. We don’t lose our hair and may look fine, but that is the furthest from the truth.
