The Metastatic Breast Cancer Conference was established in 2014 as an annual medical conference for metastatic breast cancer by Theresa’s Research Foundation with leadership from Dr. Matthew Ellis and Dr. Danny Welch. What sets this conference apart from other breast cancer-centered conferences is the specific focus on metastatic disease, for which no cure exists, making it a major unmet clinical need. The conference will feature speakers renowned for their work in metastatic breast cancer research and medical oncology.

Another unique feature of the conference is the level of involvement of patient advocates not only as attendees, but also as participants in the design, planning and implementation of the conference.
