Tami Eagle Bowling
Tami Eagle Bowling is a motivational speaker, patient advocate, and the driving force behind global initiatives that raise awareness and critical funding for metastatic breast cancer (MBC) research. Diagnosed de novo with Stage IV MBC in 2015, while raising two young daughters, Tami has turned her personal journey into a mission to improve outcomes for the MBC community and inspire resilience worldwide. She is also the creator of The Eagle Method, a framework that encourages embracing uncertainty, finding gratitude, and living with purpose in the face of adversity.
Tami is the Global Campaign Director of #LightUpMBC, a powerful movement that illuminates landmarks across the globe each October to shine a light on metastatic breast cancer. She is also the Creator of #LightUpMBC LIVE, a livestream broadcast that blends patient stories, musical performances, and scientific insights to educate and inspire audiences. Through her leadership, these efforts have raised over $2 million in research funding for METAvivor, fueling vital grants that directly impact patient survival and quality of life.
In addition, Tami is a Co-Producer of The Janice Jam: Broadway for Breast Cancer concert uniting performers and supporters to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). She has also been a passionate policy advocate, speaking on Capitol Hill and in New Jersey as part of METAvivor’s Stage IV Stampede, pushing for better laws and protections for MBC patients. Her dedication has been recognized with the Play for P.I.N.K. Humanitarian Award and a Joint Legislative Resolution from the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey, honoring her as a citizen of “outstanding character and exceptional determination.”Beyond events and policy, Tami is a published author in the American Cancer Society Journals and the Journal of Radiology Nursing. She has been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Fox 5, Comcast Newsmakers, NY1 and more for her steadfast advocacy. She also serves as a mentor for ABCD and is a proud member of the MBC Alliance, collaborating with leading organizations to accelerate progress.

#LightUpMBC
#LightUpMBC is the world’s largest visual campaign for metastatic breast cancer awareness. Each October 13, more than 270 landmarks in all 50 U.S. states and around the world light in green, teal, and pink—the MBC awareness colors—to honor lives lost, support patients, and raise funds for research benefiting METAvivor.
