The mission of the Research Advocacy Network is to develop a network of advocates and researchers who influence cancer research—from initial concept to patient care delivery—through collaboration, education and mutual support. We are dedicated to advancing patient-focused cancer research by fostering interaction among advocates, researchers and related organizations.

The Research Advocacy Network’s Advocate Institute is designed to equip advocates with an understanding of the medical research system, scientific concepts and safeguards for research participants. We develop the tools and resources needed to comprehend research studies and communicate effectively with patients, researchers and other advocates.Link to program
