NONPROFIT MEMBER: Cancer Nation
Cancer Nation (formerly the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship) is the voice of America’s 18 million cancer survivors—those living with, through, and beyond cancer. Our mission is to advocate for quality cancer care for all people touched by cancer.
Founded by and for survivors, we’re leading a national movement to put survivors at the center of every conversation about care, policy, and justice. Cancer Nation created the widely accepted definition of survivorship and believes you’re a survivor from the moment of diagnosis for the rest of your life.
We advocate for:
- Whole Person Cancer Care that sees and supports survivors as people, not just patients.
- Survivorship Care Plans that are drafted and reimbursed so care teams understand the journey.
- Financial Protections that ensure no one goes bankrupt just trying to get better.
We’re not just speaking for survivors—we are survivors. And we’re here to be heard.
