LINDA HOLDEN

Linda is an advocate for Metastatic Breast Cancer and Male Breast Cancer. Her husband Bob was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer (de novo) in January 2003. She was Bob’s caregiver for seventeen years, until he passed away on February 28, 2020. Linda volunteers with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network as a Lead Legislative Ambassador and for Susan G. Komen. She has traveled to her state capital (Sacramento) and the nation’s capital numerous times to meet with representatives and lobby for breast cancer and other cancer related bills.

Linda attended the National Breast Cancer Coalition’s Project LEAD program in July 2017, an incredible program that gave her a background in the science of breast cancer to be a better advocate. She attended her first San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in 2017 on an Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation Scholarship and again in 2022.
