NONPROFIT MEMBER: Leslie's Week
LESLIE’S WEEK is honored to invite women living with Stage 4 Breast Cancer to our annual RETREAT4STAGE4, taking place from August 2 to August 7th, 2026 in the Tennessee Smoky Mountains at the Dreammore Resort & Spa. This transformative RETREAT offers a safe and serene environment where participants can connect, heal, and rejuvenate both emotionally and physically, surrounded by others who understand the unique challenges of metastatic breast cancer. At LESLIE’S WEEK, we believe that every woman deserves to feel supported and understood, especially when facing the challenges of Stage 4 breast cancer. Our RETREAT4STAGE4 creates an oasis of care, compassion, and resilience, where healing begins, and lifelong friendships are made.
Our carefully curated RETREAT provides a balance of emotional support programs, family time to celebrate life together, and moments of peace. It is an opportunity to escape the demands of daily life and focus on self-care, empowerment, and the sense of community that LESLIE’S WEEK is known for.
This program began in 2011 in coordination with Leslie’s nurse, Carol, at the Kimmel Cancer Center, who identified one family candidate in 2011 & 2012 for LESLIE’S WEEK. Our outreach now includes nominations on our web site, https://www.lesliesweek.org/nominationform. Stage 4 BC women may be self nominated or nominated by anyone who knows them. Some are selected by third party Breast Cancer Centers throughout the country. The DeCesaris Cancer Institute at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Cancer Center, the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and Fox Chase Cancer Center Temple University are nominating partners. The Stage 4 Breast Cancer women are chosen regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, and age.
LESLIE’S WEEK hosts the STAGE4CHANGE Conference each September at The Legacy Castle, https://thelegacycastle.com/.
Join us for the 6th Annual STAGE4CHANGE: VOICES4CHANGE, https://www.lesliesweek.org/stage4change, a powerful event dedicated to amplifying the voices of women living with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. This year’s our LESLIE’S WEEK Honorees and Husband presenter’s theme, Currents of Courage, honors the unseen emotional, physical, financial, and medical forces that shape the daily lives of women living with metastatic breast cancer. Just as powerful currents move beneath the surface of the sea, our honorees navigate forces that are often invisible to the world yet demand extraordinary strength. Currents of Courage celebrates their resilience, their families’ steadfast support, and the scientific currents driving critical advances in MBC treatment.
The day is filled with impactful presentations, inspiring stories, and panel discussions led by patients, caregivers, thought leaders, and medical and pharmaceutical professionals. Together, we will push for greater awareness, policy changes, and better treatment options for Stage 4 breast cancer. Let your voice be heard, connect with a community that understands, and be part of the change that empowers hope and progress. Stage 4 MBC women have complimentary tickets to this stunning event. Please email sandra@lesliesweek.org to be placed on the registration list.
