Founded in 1944, CancerCare is the leading national organization providing free, professional support services and information to help people manage the emotional, practical and financial challenges of cancer. Our comprehensive services include case management, counseling and support groups over the phone, online and in-person, educational workshops, publications and financial and copayment assistance. CancerCare PROGRAMS & RESOURCES
Telephone Case Management
CancerCare provides free telephone case management to people living with cancer, post-treatment survivors and caregivers affected by cancer. CancerCare’s Case Management services are provided by professional oncology social workers. This service is available in English and Spanish and centers on the practical challenges that arise from cancer.

CancerCare offers limited direct financial assistance to individuals living with cancer. Eligibility is additionally based on location, diagnosis and income level. Expenses include transportation, home care, child care and more. Information changes frequently; we invite you to call our Hopeline for the most accurate and up-to-date information on financial assistance.

Our staff of professional oncology social workers provide individual and group support, practical information and resources to help you better cope with cancer.

Breast Cancer Resources
CancerCare provides free, professional support services for people affected by breast cancer, as well as breast cancer information and additional resources.
We also offer a Women’s Cancers Program to help support female-identifying individuals coping with cancer.
Coping Circles
Coping Circle Workshops are virtual educational and supportive workshops led by oncology social workers and qualified co-facilitators. These workshops cover numerous topics and are offered in English and Spanish.
