ANDREA HUTTON

Andrea is a long-standing Patient/Advocate member of the Alliance, having served several years as Co-Chair of the Information Task Force and member of the Executive Group. She is currently Director of Content Production and Web Publishing at Patient Power and a critically acclaimed author, speaker, breast cancer survivor and patient advocate.  The author of Bald Is Better With Earrings – A Survivor’s Guide to Getting Through Breast Cancer, her work on breast cancer and women’s wellness has been featured in such varied outlets as: The Washington Post, Women’s Health and Psychology Today. As a breast cancer survivor, who has “been there, had that” Andrea is on a mission to empower and educate women on how to take charge of their own health. She is also a State Leader for the Young Survival Coalition, a graduate of the National Breast Cancer Coalition’s prestigious Project Lead advocacy training program, as well as a Komen Advocate in Science.
