Medha Deoras-Sutliff
Executive Director
Medha Deoras-Sutliff has been diagnosed twice with early stage breast cancer–both diagnoses under the age of 40. She received her M.S. in Preventive Medicine from the Ohio State University and began her professional career at the Ohio Department of Health as a disease surveillance epidemiologist. After her second diagnosis in 2005, her focus turned to learning more about the science and advocacy of breast cancer. Medha is a NBCC Project LEAD® graduate, and participated as a DOD BCRP consumer grants reviewer and as an AACR Scientist↔Survivor Program® advocate mentor.
Over the past decade, Medha has been a senior staff member at the Young Survival Coalition, FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered and the National Breast Cancer Coalition. In addition, she served as Executive Director of the US EHE Foundation, an international nonprofit organization for those diagnosed with a rare vascular sarcoma. In early 2025, she transitioned from her consultant role at MBCA to Executive Director.
Medha loves to play tennis, read, and travel. She lives near Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, Gary, their labradoodle, Raja, and they enjoy spending time with their four adult children.
