‘In My Own Voice’ Virtual Event for African American Women Living with MBC

Susan G. Komen is hosting a virtual event this summer called In My Own Voice (IMOV) for African American women living with MBC. The program will consist of a welcome and overview webinar, an educational webinar on the latest advancements in MBC research and treatment, and virtual focus group discussion to engage participants in conversations to gain insight into their unique needs, barriers they face, and possible solutions to inform Komen’s efforts to address disparities in racial and ethnic breast cancer outcomes.

Priority will be given to African American women living with MBC in the northwest and southeast areas of the U.S. If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete the In My Own Voice Interest Form.

If you have questions, please contact Liz Graves at lgraves@komen.org for additional information.
